Departments may submit reservation requests for special events for the 2024-2025 Academic Year beginning at 8am on Monday, April 15.
Requests for space must fall between August 11, 2024 and May 12, 2025.
Space in the Barnhardt Student Activities Center (SAC) requests will be approved after the athletic season has been confirmed by the conference.
- Volleyball season runs from late-August through mid-November, the season is typically confirmed in June.
- Basketball season runs from early November through mid-March, the schedule is typically confirmed by July.
- Post-season tournaments run from mid-March through early-April. Dates are typically announced in January. Requests that fall during post-season tournament play cannot be confirmed until the tournament dates have been set and UNC Charlotte's participation has been determined.
The football schedule has been announced (https://charlotte49ers.com/sports/football/schedule) however, there is a chance that a Saturday game may be changed to Thursday or Friday of that week. Times have not been announced.
Requests for recurring meetings and/or academic space will be accepted during the following scheduling periods:
- Fall requests are accepted on August 1 or the first business day after.
- Spring requests are accepted on November 1 or the first business day after.
